Fear has a way of making everything feel bigger. A decision can suddenly feel overwhelming. A possibility can seem too risky. We start imagining everything that could go wrong...and before we know it, we're standing still.
But fear doesn't have to disappear before we move forward. Sometimes, the best antidote to fear is action.
Ask yourself one simple question...
When you feel stuck, pause and ask this... “What is one thing I could do today that would make me feel better?”
Not "How do I figure everything out?" Not "What if it doesn't work?"
Just this simple question: "What is one thing I can do right now?"
The answer might be small... Make the phone call. Take a walk. Have the conversation. Start the project. Ask for help. Set a boundary. Or perhaps your intuition is nudging you toward something bigger.
Listen beneath the fear...
Fear tends to be loud. Intuition is often quieter. When you step away from the mental noise and turn inward, you may notice a different kind of knowing...a gentle sense of this is the next step.
You don't have to know where the entire path leads. You only need to listen for what feels true now.
Take the next step...
Courage isn't necessarily feeling fearless. Sometimes it's feeling the fear and choosing to move anyway. So, when fear shows up, let it come along...but don't hand it the compass.
Pause. Listen inward. Ask what would support you today. Then take one step. Your intuition may already know where to begin.
