May 10 National Intuition Day - Seven Intuition
Tips
Wellesley Hills, MA -- May 10 is National Intuition
Day, a day for paying attention to a remarkably useful faculty
that we all possess, yet often misunderstand.
"Intuition is quick and ready insight,"
says author and intuition expert Lynn Robinson. "It's
our inner compass that shows us the way to a successful life."
Robinson, author of the best selling book "Divine
Intuition: Your Guide to Creating a Life You Love" and
the just released "Compass of the Soul," states
that "Intuition is really catching on. There's a perfume
called Intuition. Schick has come out with a new shaver called
Intuition. Business 2.0 Magazine and Forbes
have featured articles on intuition in business. And even
the Marines are teaching the troops to trust their intuition."
Robinson shares seven tips to help you learn
about and trust your intuition:
1) Pay attention to emotions, images,
dreams, hunches, "gut feelings." That's how your
intuition communicates with you.
2) Notice what excites you. These are
critical clues from your intuition about the right endeavors
to pursue.
3) Get clear about goals. Write about
what you want. Expand your vision. Your intuition will show
you the quickest route to where you want to go in life.
4) Ask your intuition questions such
as, "How can I...?" "What should I do about...?"
Then listen for the answers.
5) Visualize yourself achieving your
goals. Visualization is a powerful tool used by many successful
people from all walks of life.
6) Focus on what you want, not what
you don't want. Holding positive thoughts about your goals
will help you attract the circumstances to achieve them.
7) Act on the information you receive.
Intuition is like any skill the more you use it the
better you get at it. You don't need to make major changes
based on your intuition. Small steps are important.
